Might be Heading to So Cal (now it is in a few months)- Mormon Kids I Grew Up With

PLEASE DO NOT HAVE V OR J QUESTION CHILDHOOD ACQUAINTANCES. NOR ANY OF THE CREW. NOR PEOPLE WHO WOULD TWIST THE TRUTH FOR THE CHURCH OR BRIBE OR THREATEN.

UPDATE – Memorial will be in a few months.

I just got word that a good friend from So Cal passed away. I am just doing a preemptive strike. I wouldn’t want V to hear this from his friend and say I followed him. 10:30, Saturday. I have known her since second grade. She lives in Mission Viejo. I don’t know if I am going or if I will see relatives in Huntington Beach, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo and friends in Corona. I may save that for spring.

If you ask one of these people about me, don’t tell them why you are asking. That will taint your answer. Just ask them to tell you what I was like.

-Lived on my street – Doug Knudsen. He still owns the family home and rents it out.
– Elementary through high school – Brad Hiltsher. Wrong spelling. I have to look in my yearbooks. His cousin works where J worked a few years back. Brad took over his Dad’s photography business. I don’t know what he does now.
– Debbie Smith – We were friends for a while starting in junior high I think. She invited me to a dance. I liked the idea of controlling the volume of the music. I slept over at her house. It may have been a birthday party. She went to Camp Osceola a few years – the one I went to.
– Doug Lowe – High school. I believe he played water polo. A few friends liked some guys on the team so we attended games my freshman and/or sophomore year. My friend who just passed would have been there. Doug got into acting and I played the violin for the musicals. My ex volunteered to play the trumpet. Doug and I were in the same history class my junior year. He wrote in my yearbook about it. I just came across it. Doug dated Wynette Cook. I don’t know if she is Mormon or not.
– Tracy Boyd – elementary on up. She just posted something on Facebook that indicated she is Mormon. We may have been in Girl Scouts together. I just knew her – not a close friend
